Free lessons on learning the Italian anthem continue at the European Championships

After a couple of warm days, the real heat has returned to Osijek. Athletes have to shoot in the sun, and this is very difficult.

Representatives of four Teams out of 18 from the Qualification met today in the Trap Mixed Team Junior event.

Daniel Fernández De Vicente and Noelia Pontes Villarrubia from Spain competed with Thomas Agez and Chloé Dutang from France in the fight for Bronze medals.

Spaniards shot pretty confident and took the first two rounds 4-0. Then the situation changed to 4-2. After that both Teams shot equal number of clays and made the score 5-3.

In the last round Сonquistadores did their best and won the match with 7-3.

In the Gold medal match Valentino Curti and Giorgia Lenticchia from Italy met Jacub Kostelecký and Martina Matějková from the Czech Republic.

The match was really thrilling: in each round each team took 2 points in turn: 2-0, 2-2, 2-4, 4-4!

In the fifth round they shot the same number of targets, and the score was 5-5 which meant the shoot-off.

And again neither team gave each other a single chance to win! The Gold medal winners were determined in the fifth shooting series only: 5-4 in favor of Team Italy!
