Golden Hit for the Gold!

Last events of Skeet part of the program were Team competitions.

At the very beginning of the Women’s Final heavy rain and a storm began. The Chief of Referees decided to stop the shooting. Fortunately, the weather quickly took pity on the athletes, and the competitions continued.

In the Bronze Medal Match Team Czechia (Anna Šindelářová, Martina Skalická, Barbora Šumová) shot better than Team Azerbaijan (Nurlana Jafarova, Rigina Meftakhetdinova, Sevda Najafova) and won after three rounds.

In the Gold Medal Match Team Italy (Martina Bartolomei, Simona Scocchetti, Chiara Di Marziantonio) beat Team Slovakia (Monika Štibravá, Vanesa Hocková, Danka Barteková) after the Referee declared the Golden Hit in round 4.

In Men’s event Team Greece (Charalampos Chalkiadakis, Nikolaos Mavrommatis, Efthymios Mitas) won Bronze by taking over Team Germany (Vincent Christo Haaga, Felix Haase, Sven Korte) after 4 rounds.

Team Finland (Timi Otto Sante Vallioniemi, Tommi Samuli Takanen, Eetu Aapeli Kallioinen) needed one round more to defeat Team Italy (Tammaro Cassandro, Gabriele Rossetti, Elia Sdruccioli) with the Golden Hit.
