High voltage

The day started with 50m Rifle 3 Positions Duet Final here in Osijek with participation of four Teams. Both Matches were really uptight.

In the fight for Bronze there was a meeting of Nina Christen and Christoph Dürr from Switzerland and Julia Ewa Piotrowska and Maciej Ogórek from Poland. Throughout almost the entire match, both teams were on par. But finally the Swiss pair took Bronzes with 16-10.

In the very beginning of the Gold Medal Match Ukrainian Team (Daria Dudka and Serhiy Kulish) took the lead and made the score to 8-0. After that a timeout has been requested by the coach of the Norwegian Team (Mari Bårdseng Løvseth and Henrik Larsen).

Then the score became 14-10 in favor of Dudka and Kulish. But Norwegians managed to equal it! And when, it would seem, the outcome of the match was already a foregone conclusion, both teams showed the same result, and the score became 15-15! Dudka and Kulish were more precise and took Golds with 15-17.

What a tension!
