Petr Nymburský from Czech Republic took over Jon-Hermann Hegg from Norway in Gold Medal Match with a score 16:14.

Anyway the Norwegian got the Olympic quota as well as Nymburský for sure. Bronze was won by another representative of Czech Republic Jiří Přívratský.
