Neutral Referees will conduct the Finals in individual Olympic events
The Referee of the Final in each of the four individual events where Quota Places for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games will be distributed should not represent any country that has athletes qualified for the Finals.
Such decision was taken in Lonato del Garda by the leadership of the ISSF, the ESC and the Organizing Committee of the 2019 European Championship in Shotgun events that is currently taking place at the “Trap Concaverde” shooting club.
The nomination of the Referee for the Final will be done by the Technical Delegate, the Competition Manager and the Chairman of the Shotgun Jury after the end of Qualification in each respective event.
The decision was taken in order to guarantee objectiveness of the competitions following concerns of the ESC Athletes Committee and some Member Federations.
