Now it's time for Poland to take two medals in one day!
Apparently, the Polish team took an example from their Slovak colleagues - and did the right thing!
50m Rifle 3 Positions Men Junior was the next event today. Michał Chojnowski and Wiktor Sajdak – both from Poland, as you might guess – won Gold and Silver medals with 457,1 and 453,5 points respectively. Austrian Patrick Entner took Bronze.
Polish athletes not only won the Team competition, but also set an European Qualification Record! Wiktor Sajdak, Michał Chojnowski, and Jakub Goliszek achieved 1745-67x. They were followed by Austrians Patrick Entner, Kevin Weiler, and Kiano Waibel with 1732-75x. Bronze medals were taken by Even Olai Enger Throndsen, Vebjørn Grimsrud, and Jens Olsrud Østli representing Norway with 1729-72x.
