Peeter Olesk shot the victory of the Standard Pistol

Estonian Peeter Olesk took his second victory during the 25m Pistol events in Tallinn this weekend. Olesk won firstly the 5th Ranno Krusta Memorial – it was his fourth victory on row.

Today Olesk shot calmly and came to the top some way secretly and won the exciting competition. Murat Kilic had won the the first relay with result 571 and Olesk knew that. Anyway the leading was changing in the second relay between Latvian Strautmanis – French Chapon etc. But finally Olesk´s calm and cool performance gave him the victory.

Second was a little bit surprisingly Turkish Lapua Cup rookie Murat Kilic from the first relay, which he won with result 571 (14 inner tens), Finnish Sampo Voutilainen shot  bronze with result 566 (16 inner tens). The same result as Voutilainen reached also yesterday Centre Fire Pistol winner French Theo Moczko and and Finn Marko Talvitie. Moczko made 11 inner tenns and Talvitie 9.

The best team in team competition was Latvia I (Straumannis, Erbst and Zorge) with result 1687, second was France 3 point behind (1684) and third Finland I with result 1679.

Estonian Mixed Pairs took the double victory in the Mixed Pairs competition

The Estonian Team II (triin Kuusik – Erik Amann) continued their strong performance also today in the rapid stage. The pair won also yesterday´s precision stage. Their victory result was 767 (18 inner tens). On the silver position shot Estonia IV (Marja Kirss and Nemo Tabur) with result 761 (24 inner tens). It didn´t disturb Tabur´s shooting even he had today birthday and people came to congratulate him.

Latvian Team II (Alksnina Marika and Lauris Strautmanis) won bronze only 1 point behind Estonian Team IV.

There was totally 10 teams participating to the Mixed Pairs and that made the organizers happy!
