Running Target’s day of the 30 slow’s for juniors
The junior events followed immediately in the beginning of the afternoon.
The 10 women juniors opened the competition with 30 shots slow. The intermediate leader for this first international competition in this event for women junior is Ida HEIKKILA (FIN) with 284/300. “I am happy with this result as it is my first competition out of Finland” she said. She is followed by Marharyta TARKANII (UKR) with same score of 284/300. This intermediate podium is closed by Kristina HILEVYCH (UKR) with 283/300 points. Let wait for tomorrow results to know the team ranking for the 3 competing teams coming from Ukraine, Russia and Hungary.

The 16 junior men followed the first starting women in this running target 50m events.
Thomas Pfeffer, the coach of Kris GROSSHEIMER and silver medalist in 1980 Olympic Games, said: “As coach it is more challenging to sit down behind my juniors, than years ago when I was competitor.”
Kris GROSSHEIMER, after a satisfactory result at the last 10m European Championship in Osijek (CRO) , seems ready in Gyenesdiás; he is at the intermediate 1st position after slow event with 294/300 points.

He is followed by Roman TOVSTOPIAT (UKR) who scored 293/300, and at the intermediate 3rd position Andreas BERGSTROEM (SWE) with 292/300.
The tomorrow fast event should be more than passionate to follow as the athletes are scoring very close to each other.
