Support from the ESSF
The European Shooting Sports Forum (ESSF), of which ESC is member, has seen shooting and hunting organizations working together to provide an outline of some of the weaknesses and disproportionate elements of the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) proposal to restrict the use of lead ammunition in hunting and sport shooting in the EU countries. This will also affect EEA countries and Northern Ireland.
This work has been put together in a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) document. The information in the FAQs is intended for decision-makers and national authorities to better understand the problems with ECHA’s opinion. Many of you are actively involved in discussions on this topic and the contents of the document can be very helpful.
The document is available in several languages on ESSFs website.
