The first Gold Medal Match participants are decided!

The first day of the European Champions League here in Budapest started with Air Pistol duels between host nation Hungary and Italy.

In the first round Miklós Tátrai-Fejes competed against Paolo Monna. Monna won easily with 17-7. After that Veronika Major beat Maria Varricchio easily as well with the same score. In the next duel Máté Rédecsi beat Federico Nilo Maldini with 16-14, and it was a real battle! And the final point in this match has been put by Sára Rachel Fábián who took over Sara Costantino with 16-8 and made the final score 3-1 in favor of Hungary.

Now we’re waiting for the Semifinal 2 with German and Serbian athletes!
