The Interest of the ESC Air Cup powered by Walther and Capapie arises all the time
The Air Cup looks to be an interesting competition at moment when Covid-19 is increasing. Yesterday (15th October) there were 565 athletes from 15 European countries who had made their registration!
What makes the Air Cup so interesting and popular? The answer may be quite simple:
- The situation all over the world is very challenging because of the Covid-19
- People all over the world would like to compete and be connected in some way
- It is Sport for All
- excellent awards from sponsors
The ESC Air Cup powered by Walther and Capapie will be competed at the home range of the athlete and the athletes are not connected physically, even the Super Final will be streamed live (online) from home ranges on the ESC website.
This kind of competition is just a good way to give the possibility for participating into an international competition for the “ordinary” club shooters. They can really feel the excitement of an international competition!
The participation situation is at moment following:
Air Rifle Women: 165
Air Rifle Men: 153
Air Pistol Women: 156
Air Pistol Men: 293
Running Target: 30
The ESC Air Cup powered by Walther and Capapie is popular outside Europe too. The Emblem of the cup was settled on the front page of Indian Shooting Sport Federation. So, there will be thousands of visitors on the Air Cup web pages from India too.
