The race to Madrid is heating up!
The European Champions League in Shotgun is less than two months away.
The second stage of qualification has just been completed at the ISSF World Cup in Lonato and we congratulate the ESC Secretary General Melis Giraud with her outstanding performance as the Technical Delegate at this prestigious event, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and results’ fairness during competitions.
The latest ECHL qualification rankings (as of July 12) reveal a highly contested race across all disciplines, with minimal point differences between top athletes and teams.
- In Trap Men, top shooters from Italy, Great Britain, Czech Republic, and Spain are in the lead, with several athletes reaching 2000 points. Team Slovakia is trailing Team Spain by less than 400 points, keeping the team battle intense.
- In Trap Women, athletes from San Marino, Turkey, Italy, and Finland dominate, with the top four separated by under 400 points. Team Great Britain is closing in on Team Finland, with a gap of less than 200 points.
- The Skeet Men rankings feature remarkable consistency, with strong performances from Czechia, Sweden, Italy, and Denmark. Team France is narrowing the margin with Denmark, trailing by about 300 points.
- In Skeet Women, athletes from Slovakia, Finland, Cyprus, and Italy are fighting for top spots. Team Czechia is nearly level with Team Italy, separated by less than 200 points.
The qualification process will be completed at the European Championship in Châteauroux, France, where teams can still collect valuable ranking points in individual and solo events. The final rankings in Skeet will be announced on July 29 and in Trap - on August 5.
