Third Gold for Amber Hill on the last day of the Championship
Amber Hill from Great Britain won her third Gold medal in Larnaca!
Together with Emily Jane Hibbs and Jessica Louise Burgess she repeated her success as of yesterday in the Gold Medal Match and beat the German trio Christine Wenzel, Nele Wissmer, and Nadine Messerschmidt in Skeet Team Women event. Danka Barteková, Vanesa Hocková, and Lucia Kopčanová from Slovakia got Bronze medals by taking over Chiara Cainero, Martina Bartolomei, and Diana Bacosi from Italy.
In Gold Medal Match of Skeet Team Men event the winning team could have been determined after a tight shoot-off only where Italians Gabriele Rossetti, Tammaro Cassandro, and Luigi Lodde managed to overcome Efthimios Mitas, Charalambos Chalkiadakis, and Nikolaos Mavrommatis from Greece. In the Bronze Medal Match Éric Delaunay, Emmanuel Petit, and Nicolas Lejeune from France took over Nicolas Vasiliou, Menelaos Michaelides, and Stefanos Nikolaidis from Cyprus.
In total, 16 Men and 8 Women teams took part in this event.
The Larnaca European Championship is over. Now Osijek is waiting for the strongest European athletes to participate in the World Championship which starts in 9 days already.
