We are in the Games

Shooting sport has been officially confirmed in the programme of the 4th European Games, which will take place in Istanbul from 16 to 27 June 2027.

On 2 December 2025, EOC President Spyros Capralos and ESC President Alexander Ratner signed an agreement outlining mutual commitments and cooperation to ensure the highest level of the competition.

A quota of 400 athletes has been allocated to shooting events, giving shooters the opportunity to compete at Europe’s largest multisport event.

In addition, the European Games will award 12 Olympic quota places, making the tournament a crucial milestone on the road to the Olympic Games. National federations are encouraged to keep this in mind when planning their season and training programmes.

The ESC will continue to provide full support to the Organising Committee and work to ensure that shooting events once again become one of the key moments of the Games.
