Wrocław: works in progress
Preparations to the shooting sport competitions in Wrocław are in full progress. Renovations are finalizing in the Rifle and Pistol facility. Three new Shotgun ranges are being constructed.
The ESC Technical Delegates Petros Kyritsis and Yair Davidovich as well as the ESC President Alexander Ratner and EOC Sports Director Peter Brüll paid a visit to Wrocław where they inspected the venue and held productive meetings with the leadership of the Polish Shooting Sport Federation and the Organizing Committee.
The III European Games will leave a significant legacy to the development of the shooting sport in Poland and on the continent. More than 420 athletes from 45 countries are expected to take part in the competitions. 30 medal events are in the program. 12 quota places for Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be allocated.
