Zoomers сatch the record vibe
The first day of the program dedicated entirely to Juniors started with great energy. The focus was on the young athletes as both girls and boys competed in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions finals.
We always believed in this new generation of athletes, and they did not disappoint. From day one, the zoomers fully embraced the high-performance vibe set by the Seniors, proving that the future of shooting is in incredible hands.
The record-breaking streak in Osijek continues in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men Junior event. Norway’s Jens Oestli delivered a historic performance, setting a New World Record with a phenomenal score of 360.2 points. The podium was completed by Maksimilijan Zaric from Slovenia, who took home a hard-fought silver, and Jesper Johansson from Sweden, who claimed the bronze.

The team competition was just as intense. Team AIN took the top spot on the podium, followed by Italy in second place and Austria, who secured a well-deserved bronze.
The competition in 50m Rifle 3 Positions Women Junior was fantastic. Anna Dubska from Czechia showed great composure to finish third and secure the bronze. The battle for the top two spots turned into an incredible "friendly race" between teammates from Poland. Dominika Skarupska and Maja Magdalena Gawenda pushed each other to the limit, finishing with a razor-thin margin of just 0.4 points! Dominika earned the silver, while Maja’s performance was truly legendary – she set a New World Record for Women Junior with a score of 358.7 points!

In the team event, Germany displayed clinical precision to take the gold, with Switzerland claiming silver and Poland rounding out the podium with the bronze.
While the rifles set records, 50m Pistol Men event showcased absolute focus. Emils Vasermanis (LAT) took the individual gold, followed by Ihor Solovei (UKR) with silver and Samuil Donkov (BUL) with bronze. In 50m Pistol team ranking, Ukraine claimed the top spot, with Croatia in second and Latvia in third.
50m Pistol Men Junior event was dominated by Ture Edvin Thomsson (SWE), who won gold. Fahrettincan Er (TUR) earned silver, and Maksym Kaminskyy (UKR) took bronze. In the team event, Ukraine once again secured the gold, followed by Sweden for silver and Bulgaria for bronze.
What a final! What a day for the fans!
