Gilles Dufaux full scores – 600 – best result in 300m Rifle Lapua European Cup Zagreb

Croatia has been on focus during few weeks in Shooting Sport, while there were organized huge 10m, 25m, 50m, 300m and shotgun European Championship. They were organized in Osijek. Now it was turn of Zagreb to start the300m Rifle Lapua European Cup at Streljana Vrapcanski Potok.

The athletes will travel next week again to Osijek, where the next ISSF World Cup will take place on 22ns June – 3rd July, so Croatia is in focus of shooting sport. There will be 520 participants from 47 countries!

Gilles Dufaux – 600!

The best result of the 300m Rifle Lapua European Cup Men was made by Swiss Gilles Dufaux, who shot full score, 600 points in the 300m Rifle Prone Men. The result was Swiss record and unofficial world record. And naturally Lapua European Cup record! Dufaux shot 37 inner tens. Slovenian Rajmond Debevec won Silver with result 599. Bronze medal winner was Rafael Bereuter with result 597. He won the Bronze medal with the number of inner tens (49) before Swiss Jan Lochbihler (597 – 33x), Slovenian Robert Markoja (597-32x) and Polish Daniel Romanczyk (597-30x).

Silvia Guignard - the Queen of 300m Rifle

We can call certainly Swiss Silvia Guignard the Queen of 300m rifle. She made excellent result in European Championship and continued beautiful shooting also in Lapua Cup in Zagreb. Silvia Guignard won the 300m Standard rifle open with result 583 before Slovenian Robert Markoja(580) and Swiss Rafael Bereuter (578). She won also the 300m Rifle Prone Women clearly (594) before her team mate Muriel Zuger (591), Bronze medalist was Slovenian Urška Kuharič (588)

Guignard was even more superior in 300m rifle 3 x40 Women. She beat Polish Karolina Kowalczyk with 12 points. Bronze won Urška Kuharič (SLO 1153).

Swiss shooter superior in 300m Rifle 3 x 40 Men

The Swiss athletes took the 5 best places in 300m Rifle 3 x 40 Men. Jan Lochbihler was best with result 1181. The same result made also Lochbihler’s team mate Sandro Greuter, but he lost Gold with the number of inner tens (61-48). Gilles Dufaux won Bronze (1179). The following were Pascal Bachmann (1170) and Sascha Dünkl (1166). The best non-Swiss was 6th, Slovenian Robert Markoja.

Robert Markoja ruled the 300m Standard Rifle Open

Slovenian Robert Markoja made a good shooting by winning the 300m Standard Rifle Open Competition. It victory came with result 584, with the difference of one (1) point before Polish Karolina Kowalczyk (583). Swiss Jan Lochbihler was 3rd (582).

Markoja won also the Prone Men competition with result 599, Silver Debevec (SLO-595-39 x) and Bronze Rafael Bereuter (SUI – 595-29x) and fourth Nobert Szabian (HUN – 595-23x).
